Many Bed and Breakfasts try to imitate the relaxed pace of the farm through use of decor, architecture and paintings. When it comes down to it though, this invented atmosphere is fragile, and the beep of a car's horn shatters the illusion. The Mountain Valley Farm b&b rests upon 180 acres, with plenty of horses roaming the grounds, adding that special touch that just can't be replicated.  With the gently rolling hay fields, the private and serene feeling is very real.  If you choose, you can even pet the horses.

A large living room and separate parlor grace the ground floor or this historic inn. In the evenings, enjoy your favorite movie or TV show via satellite while relaxing by the fire. Enjoy the welcome feeling as you use the new kitchen. And as the sky turns to gold at the Midas touch of sunset, relax on the sun porch.  When the stars begin to waltz across the sky in sparkling apparel, you can choose to retire to the comfort of your room, or you can stay on as a spectator; the porch is one of the places that inspires relaxation and is open all day and all night, every season of the year.
